jennifer garner ben affleck son, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck spent a busy weekend celebrating their anniversary and baptizing their son, Samuel, in West Virginia.

The high-profile couple chose to have Samuel baptized at the Christ Church United Methodist, which is Garner's family church. Her family was in attendance, as were Samuel's big sisters, Violet and Seraphina.

"He's really cute. He was wearing little blue overalls," a parishioner told People magazine. "He kept trying to high-five the pastor as he was getting baptized. Violet was very well-behaved. Seraphina was funny – she was running around, and Ben had to keep getting up to run after her."

Affleck and Garner have been married since 2005 and enjoy spending time with their family. Affleck has actually said that he will be taking care of the family while Garner goes back to work on a new project.

"She's got a couple of movies coming up," Affleck told Us Weekly. "There's going to be a little Mr. Mom action and I'm going to get back in the ring."

He has made no secret that Garner tends to run the household when he is gone, and even when he is home, but is extremely grateful for his wife and their special relationship. Affleck caught some flack for calling their marriage "work" during his Oscar acceptance speech but explained himself during a monologue on "Saturday Night Live."

I thanked my wife while saying the essence of marriage is work. Some uncharitable souls on the Internet took that to mean our marriage is some kind of manual labor. That's not it. You define what's important to you by what you dedicate your time to," Affleck said.

"I'm not sure why you had to share it live to a billion people," Garner then said as she came onstage, surprising everyone, and showing her sense of humor. The two spent their eighth anniversary at a local pizza joint, just enjoying one another's company.

"They're just really solid people," restaurant owner Rob Lindeman told People. "They seemed like they were having a great time."
